Officially:

Here at the end of week three of this hiatus, I'm finally going to call it what it is: a necessary quiet, one I'm not ready to bring to a close yet.  Lots of things are realigning right now, largely in good ways (though there's also been ample sadness in some lives near mine, of late), and at the end of the day I find myself not really wanting to write about it all.  And even when I do feel like writing about it, I end up deciding that I don't want to after all.  Suffice it to say that I have moved (or am in the final stages of moving now) and have been moved, literally and figuratively, and that our newest students arrive en masse in exactly one week, which means that the summer is hurtling on out of here.

it's good to be quiet when you need to be! especially in the inbetween times. i hope that everything keeps aligning itself well.

Hi Dr S, I'm really enjoying reading your blog. You mention in a recent post, going to a monastery...did you blog about this earlier? Was it for meditation?

Ah the pleasant vagaries of happenstance. Googling the word "repositorial", to see just how much of a word it actually is, I came across your blog. And like it very much. Thankyou. Here's one you might like: The Laughing Bone (on Blogspot). Mine is also on Blogspot, though I don't get to it nearly enough. It's called The Daily Totem.

How on earth are you, Dr S? Just redesigned my blog and found a very, very old comment of yours (on Basic Instinct 2, no less!) that had somehow slipped through the moderation cracks. Reminded me you're out here. I shall try to be back in touch on my return from current hijinks in San Sebastian, because I miss you in my world.
